Marc Cohen – Founder & Proprietor

Howell at the Moon Wine was founded by Marc Cohen, whose appreciation for fine wine and the beauty of Napa Valley inspired him to establish the winery in 2001.

After discovering Napa Valley in the early 1980s, Marc developed a lasting connection to the region and its renowned vineyards. That passion eventually led him to purchase property on Howell Mountain, where he pursued his vision of producing premium mountain-grown wines.

Marc remains closely involved in every aspect of the winery, from vineyard decisions to blending and production. His philosophy has always centered on quality over quantity, allowing each vintage to express the unique characteristics of the vineyard and growing season.

Timothy Milos – Winemaker
